Learning the Romanian Negation displayed below is vital to the language. Romanian negation is the process that turns an affirmative statement (I am happy) into its opposite denial (I am not happy).
In Romanian, negation can be made simply by placing "Nu" before the main verb. But sometimes a double negative is required. "Nu" is the most common negative.
Nu pot să fac asta(I can't do this).
Nu au nimic de făcut (they don't have anything to do – Double Negative).
Nu îmi place (I don't like it)
