Learning the Portuguese Pronouns displayed below is vital to the language. Portuguese pronouns include personal pronouns (refer to the persons speaking, the persons spoken to, or the persons or things spoken about), indefinite pronouns, relative pronouns (connect parts of sentences) and reciprocal or reflexive pronouns (in which the object of a verb is being acted on by verb's subject).
In English personal pronouns are (I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they), and (me, you, him, her, it, us, you, them), In Portuguese, the personal pronouns are:
Eu… (I), tu… (you), ele… (he), ela… (she),
Nós… (we), Vós… (you plural) eles …(they masc.), elas… (they fem.)
Examples: Eu aprendo (I learn), tu aprendes (you learn), ele aprende (he learns), ela aprende (she learns), nós aprendemos (we learn), vós aprendéis (you learn [plural, friendly]), eles aprendem (they learn), elas aprendem (they learn).
But in portuguese you can use the verb without the personal pronouns(Null subject- not expressed), because it can be identify by the verbal agreement (ex.: «[Eu] Digo o que quero»).([I] say what [ I ]want.
Indirect Object Pronouns:
Indirect object pronouns are words that replace the indirect object, which is usually a person.
Me (me), te (you), le (him, her, you (formal), nos (us), vos (you), les (them):
Examples: Dá-me o livro (give me the book). Amo-te (I love you).
Possessive Pronouns:
Meu (mine masc.), minha (mine fem.), meus (mine, plural masc.), minhas (mine, plural fem.), teu(s) / tua(s) (yours), seu / sua (his, hers), nosso(s) / nossa(s) (ours), vosso(s) / vossa(s) (yours), seus / suas (theirs).
