Polish negation is the process that turns an affirmative statement (I am happy) into its opposite denial (I am not happy).
In Polish, negation can be made simply by placing "nie" (no) before the main verb. But sometimes a double negative is required. "Nie" is the most common negative.
Nie potrafię tego zrobić (I can't do this).
Oni nie mają niczego do roboty (they don't have anything to do – Double Negative).
Nie, nie lubię tego (No, I don't like it)
