Bengali negation is the process that turns an affirmative statement (I am happy) into its opposite denial (I am not happy).
In Bengali, negation can be made simply by placing "Na" or “nei” after the main verb. “ni” also used in first person statement in past tense. But sometimes a double negative is required. "Na" is the most common negative.

Tader kichhui korar nei (they don't have anything to do – Double Negative).
Ami korini (I didn't do it)
